Feedback

Join the Conversation

Each year the Etiwanda School district strives to gain educational partner feedback through a variety of methods through the school year to help drive the decision making for the development of our LCAP. The Etiwanda School District's process for engaging educational partners in the development of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) includes district wide Thought Exchanges, annual surveys (families, staff and students in grade 3-8), community forums held virtually and in-person, meetings with advisory committees and groups throughout the school year, LCFF/LCAP Presentations at public Board of Trustees meetings, and posting the draft LCAP online with a portal that allows community members the opportunity to provide feedback on the draft LCAP. The District also reaches out to our educational partners on LCAP development opportunities through the district wide calling system, emails, flyers, social media, and the District website. Thank you for your continued support and we hope you can engage in the next opportunity for feedback during the 2024-2025 school year.

LCAP Survey

All community members are encouraged to participate in the LCAP decision making process. The feedback we receive from our educational partners is a critical component of the development process. In September, our educational partners including parents and staff were invited to participate in the survey process. Students in grades 3-8, with parent permission, also have an opportunity to take the survey during scheduled class time.

The feedback from our educational partners is essential in guiding our district's priorities. Your voice is valuable in the decision making process in order to enhance our educational programs. To view the results, please click on the links below for each participation group.

online thought exchange

Thought Exchange

During the 2024/2025 school year, we plan to continue our annual tradition of utilizing the Thought Exchange platform to support our four LCAP (Local Control and Accountability Plan) goals. In March and April, families, teachers, administrators, and student will participate in a Thought Exchange. This session is focused on sharing ideas about the unique qualities within the Etiwanda School District with the goal to enhance student outcomes. The feedback collected from the Thought Exchange will inform the development of our LCAP action updates.

We invite our community members to reflect on the strengths and distinctive attributes of our school district, encouraging them to identify aspects we should continue to prioritize and expand upon. This input opportunity historically draws in thousands of responses from families, staff, students, and community members who actively engaged in our exchange.
